スウェーデンを代表するガラス作家、Erik HöglundがBodaで手掛けた「Buffalo」シリーズのアッシュトレイ。

深みのあるアンバーガラスに、水牛のモチーフを型押しした温かみのある一品です。厚みのあるガラスへ大胆に施されたレリーフは、光を受けるたびに表情を変え、Erik Höglundらしい素朴で力強い造形美を感じさせます。

ガラスの揺らぎや気泡を活かした製法は、一点ごとに異なる個性を生み出し、工業製品でありながら手仕事の温もりを宿しています。

本来はアッシュトレイとして制作された作品ですが、アクセサリートレイやデスク周りの小物入れ、オブジェとしてもおすすめ。北欧ガラスらしい存在感を、気軽に暮らしへ取り入れられるコレクタブルな作品です。
