ウェグナーらしい有機的なラインを持ちながら、どこか匿名的でもある一脚。
Yチェアほど主張せず、The Chairほど緊張感もない。けれど、日常の空間に置いた時の馴染み方は格別です。

特徴的なのは、削ぎ落とされたフレーム構成。
丸脚と貫。そのすべてが過不足なく整理され、椅子そのものが“空気を整える道具”のように感じられます。

こちらはファブリック仕様。
ウェグナーの椅子特有の木工的な緊張感に、柔らかな座り心地が加わり、より現代の空間にも合わせやすいバランスに仕上がっています。

またCH51は、ウェグナーが得意とした“見えない部分の美しさ”も非常に面白いモデル。
座面裏の構造や、フレーム接合部の納まりまで丁寧に設計されており、家具というより、木工そのものへの敬意が感じられます。
