グレーテ・ヤルクらしい、柔らかな緊張感をまとったアームチェア。
無駄を削ぎ落としながらも、どこか女性的な曲線が空間に静かな余韻を残します。

細身のフレームに対して、ゆったりとした背と座。
アームから脚部へ流れるラインには、1950〜60年代のデンマークモダン特有の軽やかさが感じられます。

ヤルクは当時まだ男性中心だった北欧家具デザインの世界で活躍した数少ない女性デザイナーのひとり。
収納家具からラウンジチェアまで幅広く手掛け、その造形には常に“生活の中での美しさ”がありました。

こちらの個体も、派手な主張はありません。
けれど、座った瞬間にわかる安心感と、空間に置いた時の収まりの良さがある。

日常に自然と馴染みながら、静かに空気を整えてくれる一脚です。
