アルヴァ・アアルトが手がけた、この背もたれの高い「401」という椅子。一番のうれしさは、首のあたりまでしっかりと支えてくれる、その安心感です。白樺（バーチ）を丁寧に曲げて作られたフレームには、座る人の重みに合わせてしなる、木ならではの優しい弾力がございます。

清々しい白地に黒い線が並ぶしま模様は、お部屋のなかに心地よい「調べ」を運んできてくれるかのよう。派手すぎず、けれどどこか楽しげなその佇まいは、どんなしつらえの場所にも、すうっと静かに馴染んでくれます。
