1968年、アンダース・パーソンがAteljé Lyktan（アトリエ・リクタン）のために描き出した『Bumling（バムリング）』。スウェーデン語で「大きな石」や「塊」を意味するその名の通り、このデスクランプが放つのは、空間をどっしりと、けれどチャーミングに定義する圧倒的な存在感です。

特筆すべきは、マテリアルとしてのブラス（真鍮）が生み出す独自の文脈。カラフルに塗装された当時の量産モデルとは一線を画す、無垢の真鍮ならではのパティーナ（経年変化）。数十年という歳月を経て刻み込まれた色の深まりや変色は、このランプが歩んできた時間の記録であり、現代のクリーンなワークスペースにおいて、鮮やかな「歴史の重層」を突きつけてくれます。
