1962年、ポール・ヘニングセンが辿り着いた、光学の極致。内側に潜ませたオレンジやブルーの色彩が、アルミの無機質な質感と混ざり合い、点灯した瞬間に、部屋の空気がふわりと、けれどドラマチックに書き換えられていく。

眩しさ（グレア）を完璧に消し去り、必要な場所にだけ、必要なだけの「光の輪郭」を置くこと。そのストイックなまでの機能美は、ただそこにあるだけで、空間に知的な静寂と、深い奥行きを連れてきてくれます。
