最大の見どころは、やはりその名の由来となった脚部の構造美。単なる支持体であることを超え、空間をグラフィカルに切り取る「X」のライン。明るいトーンのバーチ天板と、それを引き締めるダークステインの脚部が描くコントラストは、現代のクリーンな居住空間において、圧倒的な視覚的引力を放ちます。

製造を担ったのは、アアルトの家具製作も支えた名門、ケラヴァン・プーテオリスース社。半世紀以上の時を経て熟成されたバーチ材のパティーナは、ヴィンテージでしか到達し得ない深い飴色の質感を湛えています。
