デンマークのデザイナー、カール・オーガ・スコフ。彼がMunch Møbler（ムンク・モブラー）のために遺したこの3段チェストを前にして語るべきは、デザインの「巧さ」以上に、その物としての「誠実な骨格」だ。

最大の見どころは、前面にリズムを刻む削り出しの取っ手。指先がしっくりと馴染む柔らかな曲線は、無機質になりがちな収納家具に、使うたびに愛着を覚えさせる「体温」を与えている。本体を支えるスリムなテーパードレッグが生み出す心地よい抜け感は、W600mmという小振りなサイズ感と相まって、お部屋に重力を感じさせない軽やかな浮遊感をもたらしてくれます。

年月を経て、深く、しっとりと熟成されたチーク材のパティーナ（経年美）。天板の上にお気に入りのランプや一輪挿しを置く。その行為自体を、日常の質感を整える「編集」として愉しませてくれる。
