ハンス J. ウェグナーがアンドレアス・タック社のために設計した『RY430』は、まさに寝室における知的なインフラです。一見すると実直な木の箱。しかし、引き出しの取っ手ひとつをとっても、指先が触れる瞬間の感触まで計算されたマイスターの矜持が宿っています。

天板下のオープンシェルフと、小物を封印するためのドロワー。この「空（くう）」と「実（じつ）」の配分が、枕元の風景に心地よい規律をもたらしてくれる。年月を経て、深く、重厚な飴色へと遷移したオークの肌目。それは、数十年にわたって繰り返されてきた「一日の終わり」を静かに肯定し続けるパティーナ（経年美）です。

機能を形にし、そこに住まう人の呼吸を整える。ウェグナーが辿り着いた、最も親密なスケールにおける機能主義。ただそこにあるだけで、休息の質を根本から変えてしまう力を持った一台です。
