セヴェリン・ハンセン・ジュニアが描くラインは、空間を鋭利に、けれど極めてエレガントに切り取ります。ハスレブ（Haslev）社によって具現化されたこのソーイングテーブルは、彼の代名詞である「脚部と幕板の接合美」が、最もミニマルなスケールで完結した一台です。

最大の見どころは、一分の隙もなく45度で合わせられたコーナー部分のディテール。構造的な必然をそのまま意匠へと昇華させるその手腕は、当時のデンマーク家具工芸が到達したひとつの規律を感じさせます。

重厚なオーク材のフレームに対し、天板の下で静かに呼吸するようなラタン（籐）のバスケット。この「硬」と「柔」、「木」と「草」の知的な衝突が、サイドテーブルという実用的な存在に、工芸的な奥行きと色気を与えています。かつては裁縫道具を収めるための居場所でしたが、現代においては、リモコンやガジェット類、あるいは読みかけの文庫本を無造作に、けれど美しく封印するための贅沢な余白となるでしょう。
